Church and Theology features the teaching of Paul S. Karleen, Ph.D. Dr. Karleen is currently a teaching elder at Believers’ Fellowship in Yardley, PA, a New Testament local church. He holds degrees from Yale University (AB in Religious Studies); Dallas Theological Seminary (ThM In New Testament Literature and Exegesis) and the University of Pennsylvania (PhD in Linguistics), where he concentrated in historical and comparative linguistics and the linguistics of Ancient Greek, with particular reference to its historical development in its various dialects. His dissertation was a study of the participle in New Testament Greek (Koine), approached from the standpoint of modern syntactic theory.

When he is not preaching or studying Scripture, Paul enjoys instructing the Israeli Krav Maga self-defense system, volunteering in the community and spending time with his grandchildren. He resides with his wife, Joy, in southeastern Pennsylvania.
